Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. A contract position is available for an Occupational Therapist (OT) specializing in school-based services, located in Hilton Head Island, SC. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic student population in a supportive school environment, providing essential therapeutic interventions to enhance students educational experiences and daily functioning. Key Responsibilities: Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement therapeutic strategies within the school setting Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state regulations Qualifications: Valid Occupational Therapy license or certification recognized in South Carolina Experience delivering OT services in a school environment is preferred Excellent communication and teamwork skills For travel candidates: Must hold certification/licenses in South Carolina and comply with all state requirements Location: Hilton Head Island, South Carolina Additional Details: Open to both local and travel Occupational Therapists Travel professionals must have valid state certification and are eligible for tax-free housing and meal stipends, in addition to receiving low taxable income benefits during the contract period This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' lives in a beautiful coastal location.
