Job Description Summary The Division of Transplantation seeks a
Board-certified abdominal transplant surgeon to join a robust team

Weekly Hours 40 Work Shift Job Description The Division of
Transplant seeks a Board-certified abdominal transplant surgeon at
the Assistant or associate professor level to join a robust team of
transplant surgeons. The division has 7 full-time multiorgan
surgeons, fellows, a robust APP core and immense institutional
support. The applicant should be fellowship trained with experience
in organ transplantation and multi-organ procurement. The applicant
should also have experience in robotic donor nephrectomy. A track
record of clinical or benchtop research is a bonus with support
packages based on prior funding experience. An excellent team
member is a must and ability to coordinate with transplant medicine
specialties and other members of the multi-disciplinary team as
well as community leaders. MUSC transplant is the 9th largest
transplant center in the united states utilizing advanced
procurement technologies as well as NRP for donor procurements.
Being facile with NMP as well as NRP is a must. Robotic
Hepatobiliary would be supported but is not a necessary skill set
for application. Additional Job Description Physical Requirements:

(Continuous) Ability to maintain tactile sensory functions.
(Continuous) Ability to lift and carry 15 lbs., unassisted.
(Infrequent) Ability to lift objects, up to 15 lbs., from floor
level to height of 36 inches, unassisted. (Infrequent) Ability to
lower objects, up to 15 lbs., from height of 36 inches to floor
level, unassisted. (Infrequent) Ability to push/pull objects, up to
15 lbs., unassisted. (Infrequent) Ability to maintain 20/40 vision,
corrected, in one eye or with both eyes. (Continuous) Ability to
see and recognize objects close at hand. (Frequent) Ability to see
and recognize objects at a distance. (Frequent) Ability to
determine distance/relationship between objects; depth perception.
(Continuous) Good peripheral vision capabilities. (Continuous)
Ability to maintain hearing acuity, with correction. (Continuous)
Ability to perform gross motor functions with frequent fine motor
