Together, we are REV!Position Purpose:This position is responsible for the direct management, supervision, and execution of marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and brand initiatives to increase REV's brand awareness. The Director of Brand Marketing will develop and implement the REV marketing plan and ensure the timely execution of all initiatives, as well as leverage data to track and refine campaign results. This position will also partner with other REV leaders to promote individual business lines, as well as support expanding REV's employment brand, internal brand, and the personal branding of community facing team members.Duties & Responsibilities:The primary focus for the Director of Marketing & Public Relations will be to serve as the tactical leader to ensure all marketing and public relations initiatives are achieved on time and within budget to produce the results needed to build the REV brand and fuel REV's financial growth.Marketing

  • Develop advertising strategies and marketing campaigns to most effectively reach and connect with the desired audience.
  • Create marketing channel roadmaps to grow the REV brand in geographically diverse segments to develop brand maturity and corresponding product awareness.
  • Review and approve marketing collateral to ensure they enhance REV's image.
  • Manage outside advertising and public relations vendors to include: assigning work, reviewing results, and budgeting.
  • Coach and develop other REV employees in sales and marketing, including managers within other business lines.
  • Monitor the appropriate usage of the REV brand by third parties.Planning & Communication
    • Thoroughly understand the brand voice of REV and ensure all internal and external communications align with REV's brand standards, to include writing and editing copy.
    • Support REV's public relations, social media, community outreach, and government affairs as a strategist, consultant, figurehead and subject matter expert.
    • Design, build and implement marketing plans to further REV's overall strategic objectives.
    • Using marketing analytics, create and manage goals and performance metrics for initiatives and campaigns. Monitor campaigns regularly to understand effectiveness of strategy, making recommendations for continuous improvement to ensure brand consistency and overall success.
    • Track and report the results of marketing plans to senior management on an ongoing basis to ensure that the implementation of the plan continues to support and validate REV's strategic plan.
    • Actively promote an internal culture that is sales oriented.
    • Conduct and oversee market research to apply segmentation strategies to the existing member base and prospect lists.
    • Research and recommend external vendors and organizations that can positively impact branding or marketing efforts.
    • Provide input to senior and executive management on issues related to brand development.Management
      • Schedule staff and assign work to ensure superior internal service standards and work plans are achieved.
      • Recruit, select, train, and provide leadership and performance feedback for direct reports.
      • Recommend wage adjustments, staffing, and work assignments.
      • Conduct regular staff and coaching meetings with direct reports.
      • Establish goals and work plans consistent with REV's needs.
      • Recommend and monitor the REV Marketing budget.
      • Approve department expenditures within authorized limits.
      • Recommend methods and procedures to improve department efficiency.

Additional Skills & Experience:
        • Knowledge in credit union systems and marketing applications to include:, Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Microsoft 365 Applications.
