Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not

opportunity as a full-time Occupational Therapist specializing in
school-based services, supporting students from kindergarten
through 12th grade. This role takes place in a vibrant educational
setting in Newberry, SC, offering travel across the district to
deliver vital therapeutic support to diverse student populations.
Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive occupational therapy
services to students K-12, addressing fine motor, sensory, and
developmental needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and
multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans
(IEPs) and implement targeted interventions. Conduct assessments,
monitor student progress, and adjust therapy strategies to optimize
functional outcomes. Facilitate classroom adaptations and consult
with staff to promote inclusive learning environments. Maintain
thorough documentation in accordance with state and federal
regulations. Qualifications: Valid Occupational Therapy license
with experience in school-based settings preferred. Demonstrated
ability to work effectively across grade levels within a
district-wide travel position. Strong communication and
interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and school
personnel. Ability to manage a flexible schedule accommodating
multiple school visits. Commitment to fostering student
independence and success through tailored therapeutic approaches.
