is currently seeking Experienced Composite Fabrication Specialists
(Level B or C) to assist with multiple areas of the 787 production
system in North Charleston, South Carolina on a variable shift!
This role offers an exciting opportunity within a dynamic
manufacturing assembly environment. Team members will leverage
their prior experience, and the knowledge gained from training and
certifications to complete daily assigned tasks effectively.
Individuals will be responsible for identifying their work
locations on advanced airplanes, parts, and tooling by interpreting
intricate drawings to accurately complete detailed work
instructions. Attention to detail and procedure compliance is
critical to identify all necessary hand tools, parts, and equipment
required to ensure defect-free work. This position is not just a

Responsibilities: Must have the ability to complete the New Hire
Training Cycle Flow to obtain and maintain all required
certifications. Ability to adhere to high standards of safety and
quality. Comply with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and
Boeing Quality Management System (QMS) requirements. Ensure your
work conforms to engineering drawings and specifications, has First
Pass Quality (FPQ) and is free from Foreign Object Debris. Use
computers and software applications in a production environment.
Look up, read, comprehend technical work instructions, drawings
and/or specifications. Wear appropriate protective clothing and
equipment determined by the task you are performing. Operate
mechanical lifts of various types (e.g. ladders, tiger and snorkel
lifts). Use various hand tools. Climbing/balancing (stairs,
ladders, poles, scaffolding, inclined surfaces), Crawling,
Crouching (squatting), Working around energized sources (electrical
equipment and hazards/shock, e.g. circuit breakers and wiring) and
exposure to constant noise. Finger manipulation (keyboarding,
other). Reading from a computer screen, printed drawings or
documents. Carrying and lifting up to 10-35 pounds Flexion
extension (head bent down, head bent back), handling, kneeling,
bending at the waist, reaching (overhead), rotation of head/neck,
standing, twisting at the waist and walking. Experience with
conventional material layup, precision measuring, power, pneumatic
and hand tools Ability to obtain CNC Experience. This position is
expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required
to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position
must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export
control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22
C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen,
lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Basic Qualifications
(Required Skills/ Experience): Ability to work a variable shift.
Ability to meet physical demands of the role such as: flexion and
extension (head bent down, head bent back), handling, kneeling,
bending at the waist, reaching overhead, rotation of head/neck,
standing, twisting at the waist and walking, climbing/balancing
(stairs, ladders, poles, scaffolding, inclined surfaces), crawling,
crouching (squatting). Ability to carry and lift up to 10-35
pounds. Ability to work with High Hazard Chemicals. 6 months
experience using software applications for internet navigation,
email, Microsoft Suite and/or other specialized computer
applications. 6 months experience utilizing and following detailed
work instructions, reading, and interpreting blueprints, drawings,
or specifications, in English. 6 months experience in a technical
or mechanical field performing work with basic hand, power and/or
pneumatic (air) tools. Preferred Qualifications (Desired
Skills/Experience): 3 years of related work experience or an
equivalent combination of education and experience. 3 years of
experience with conventional material layup, precision measuring,
power, pneumatic and hand tools. 3 years of CNC experience. 3 years
of Crane Operations experience. 3 years of experience reading and
interpreting drawings, specifications, material processes,
schematic and diagrams in aviation. Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is

Shift: This position is for a variable shift (shift 4). Variable
shift means you will be placed on a shift at the time of hire based

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well
as market and business considerations. Summary pay range level B:
$54,000 - $64,000? Summary pay range level C: $61,200 - $64,500?
