recruiting for a DDC Programmer to c omplete the design and
programming of DDC Systems by creating project design packages and
programming data. Hoffman Building Technologies is seeking a
skilled and motivated DDC Programmer to join our team. In this
role, you will be responsible for designing and programming Direct
Digital Control (DDC) systems used in commercial and industrial
building automation projects. This includes creating detailed
project design packages, configuring software, and developing
control strategies tailored to customer and system requirements.
Responsibilities: Design HVAC control systems and sequences of
operations for new and retrofit projects Develop and program DDC
control logic using platforms such as Tridium/Niagara, Honeywell,
Johnson Controls, or Siemens Prepare control panel layouts, wiring
diagrams, and point-to-point schematics Conduct system testing,
commissioning, and tuning of HVAC/BAS systems Collaborate with
project managers, mechanical engineers, and installation teams
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ongoing service
and upgrades Ensure compliance with energy codes, specifications,
and standards (ASHRAE, LEED, etc.) Qualifications: 3–5 years of
experience in HVAC controls or building automation Proficiency in
DDC/BAS platforms (e.g., Niagara, BACnet, Modbus, LON) Knowledge of
HVAC equipment operation and integration Experience with AutoCAD,
Revit, or Visio for control drawings Strong communication and
documentation skills PE license or LEED AP certification is a plus
