Job Description Job Description Job Title: Construction Superintendent Job Description We are seeking an experienced Federal Construction Superintendent to oversee a high-profile project. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of construction management and be responsible for ensuring project success from start to finish. Responsibilities Manage and oversee construction projects with a scope similar to $13 million. Serve as a full-time, on-site representative with authority to direct subcontractors. Ensure compliance with NAVFAC and USACE construction standards and safety regulations. Coordinate and enforce safety and quality requirements in line with EM 385-1-1. Coordinate multiple trades and manage project schedules effectively. Communicate effectively with Government representatives, ensuring clear and concise information exchange. Supervise daily operations, ensuring all project activities are documented accurately. Essential Skills 10 years of experience managing federal or military installation projects. Proven knowledge of NAVFAC and USACE construction standards. OSHA 30 certification. Fluency in English with strong communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Demonstrated experience in quality control procedures. Ability to coordinate inspections and maintain project schedules. Work Environment The position is based on-site at a federal or military installation. The work environment requires strict adherence to safety and quality standards, with the use of various construction management technologies. The superintendent will be responsible for ensuring a safe and efficient work site, coordinating with multiple trades, and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Awendaw, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
