Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis Engineer (Associate, Mid or
Senior Level) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial
Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis
Engineer (Associate, Mid or Senior Level) to join our 787
Mechanical Systems Design Engineering team in North Charleston,
South Carolina. The Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis Engineer
will support the development and documentation of mechanical,
fluid, and environmental control system components/assemblies for
the 787 Program. Those selected will align with our software and
controls engineering team within the 787 ECS (Environment Control
Systems) Sustaining - Functional and Equipment SOW. If this vision

levels including Associate Level (Level 2); Mid-Level (Level 3) or
Senior Level (Level 4) Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis
Engineer (Associate, Mid or Senior Level). Primary
Responsibilities: Developing and maintaining mechanical systems
detail, product detail, assembly, and installation designs (e.g.,
composite ducting, hydraulic tubing, transport element routing and
geometry). Assisting with engineering design disposition on
discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests,
and shop revision requests). Follow documented processes,
specifications, and procedures that support the design and
manufacture of mechanical, fluid, and environmental control system
commodities. Collecting data to support the development of
statements of work. Reviewing functional and physical input used in
the development of integrated design and system architecture.
Assist in preparing technical documents for mechanical components
and systems. Supporting the development, maintenance or
modification of system designs/proposals to provide design
documentation and high-level requirements to downstream
users/customers. Perform spatial integration at system or component
level. Assist in supporting proposal preparation and new business
development efforts. Ability to travel domestically and
internationally. Works under general supervision. Basic
Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science
degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace
Aeronautical or Material Sciences) 2 years of experience working in
an engineering discipline application 2 years of experience with
Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools Preferred Qualifications (Desired
Skills/Experience): Level 3 : 5 years of related work experience or
an equivalent combination of education and experience Level 4 : 8
years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of
education and experience 2 years of demonstrated project management
skills 3 years of experience in aerospace related role 5 years of
experience working in CATIA V5 & ENOVIA toolsets 5 years of
experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings,
procedures, and specifications 5 years of experience in a
mechanical system, hydraulic fluid system, and/or environmental

considerations. Summary Pay Range Associate Level (Level 2):
$76,000 - $103,500 Summary Pay Range Mid-Level (Level 3): $94,000 -
$128,800 Summary Pay Range Senior Level (Level 4): $115,000 -
