Position Overview:Oversees and manages all vendor relationship and activities associated with digital banking to enhance a digital first strategy. Develops policies and procedures for digital banking processes in order to ensure compliance with established standards and regulations. Responsible for the credit union's cash management on line products and services. Assists with the design and development of digital banking products to improve the member experience and ensure data security. Ensures that department milestones/goals are met and adheres to approved budgets.Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssumes responsibility for the planning, development, and implementation of effective digital banking strategies and policies. Formulates and executes innovative products and solutions, aiming to achieve the business targets and improve member experience.Advocates and communicates the digital first vision and strategy to all stakeholders across the business.Creates detailed project plans and leads development initiatives, tracks and monitors project progress, ensures effective implementation of new services / initiatives and performs post-implementation reviews after launch.Works closely with segment and product managers to prepare user requirements with the best market practices and excellent member experiences.Understands the market situation and availability of new technology, conducts market analysis and proposes enhancement recommendations for management's decisions.Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to achieve target project results.Drive the implementation of next generation of digital banking solutions.Assumes responsibility for developing new digital first opportunities.Maintains a current knowledge of industry trends, opportunities, channels, products, and competitors to support digital banking opportunities.Makes recommendations regarding operational system configurations and implements those changes as agreed.Reviews existing internet banking offerings for enhancements as a result of business goals, competitive pressures and revenue opportunities.As new processes and systems are implemented, trains or coordinates training efforts to ensure credit union employees are trained on proper use and troubleshooting techniques.Identifies the need for system updates, procures new vendors, negotiates and administers contracts for provision of products and services.Effectively manages personnel, ensuring optimal performance.Provides leadership to personnel through effective objective setting, delegation, and communication. Conducts meetings to ensure personnel are well informed of changes in programs, policies, and procedures. Discusses areas needing improvement.Trains, directs, and coordinates personnel. Provides assistance and support as needed.Conducts performance appraisals. Provides suggestions for improved performance. Formulates and implements employee corrective actions as needed.Assumes responsibility for ensuring professional relations with all members, trade professionals, and external contacts. Ensures the delivery of products and services within established timeframes. Works to exceed member expectations.Ensures members, third parties, and business alliances are well informed through continual feedback and communication.Ensures requests, needs, and questions are promptly resolved. Ensures information regarding Credit union products, programs, and promotions is appropriately provided.Promotes goodwill and a positive image of the Credit union. Ensures the Credit union's professional reputation is maintained.Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication and coordination with Credit union personnel and management.Assists and supports related departments. Obtains and conveys information as needed.Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant concerns.Attends and participates in meetings and committees as required.Completes reports, records, and other documentation as required.Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.Skills & QualificationsEducation/Certification & Experience:Bachelor's Degree in an applicable field from a certified university or college3 -5 years of relevant experience in e-finance related product development in financial institutions or FinTechsSkills/Abilities:Be highly aware of market trend, new technologies, new FinTech products and business models.Able to work independently, organized, creative and attentive to details.Be a good team player and self-motivated with strong analytical mindset plus able to manage multiple projects.Be innovative with proficient organizing & execution abilities.Able to organize, coordinate, and direct projects.Strong oral and written communications abilities.Solid analytical and technical skills.Excellent presentation skillsAble to use all related hardware and software; extremely computer literate.
