A Shift Managers main responsibility is assisting in leading the Moon Crew in providing great service to our customers. The position reports directly to the Store Manager. He or she will have the responsibility of being the Manager on Duty when the Store and the Assistant Manager are not present. This position will open and close the store, merchandise, replenish, tag product, train associates, develop associates, clean, organize, and hold the associates accountable to their assigned duties. The Shift Manager must lead by example in all areas of the business, but most importantly in providing the customer with a great experience at Palmetto Moon.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate effectively with associates and management
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities as appropriate
• Effectively handle customer service issues
• Build relationships with customers, as well as associates
• Able to solve problems as they occur
• Completes tasks on a timely basis
• Ensure customer satisfaction
• Has knowledge of products and vendors
• Practices good housekeeping (dusting, cleaning fixtures, etc.)
• Understands and maintains store standards
• Open and close the store
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Recognize superior performance of sales associates and coworkers Qualifications
  • Must be at least 16 years old to apply
