Unlock your potential!Job Summary and QualificationsThe Certified Surgical Technician will assist in nursing care and preparation of the surgical patient by performance of routine and delegated duties according to standards and policies of THS, and the department of Surgical Services. - -The Certified Surgical Technician will: -
  • Perform scrub duties and related procedures such as surgical room set-up
  • Assist in supply maintenance
  • Provide assistance in emergency procedures as well as elective and scheduled procedures
  • Assist in preparation, transportation and supervision of patients
    What qualifications you will need:
    • Licensure/Certification: National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) certification within 3 months of graduation or NCCT certification, BLS - Healthcare provider on hire (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
    • Education: Graduate of a School of Surgical Technology
