About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at Trident Medical Center. As a key member of our surgical team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support during surgical procedures.Responsibilities

• Assist in emergency procedures, as well as elective and scheduled cases
• Work collaboratively with surgical teams to ensure patients receive exceptional care
• Serve as a liaison between the surgical team and patients' families
• Organize supplies needed for patients and maintain a sterile operating room
• Assess patients before, during, and after surgery, and perform count procedures to protect patients from unintended retained foreign objects
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders and actively involve patients or designated support persons in decisions affecting their post-perioperative plan of care and rehabilitation processRequirements
  • Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required
  • Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required
