Job Title: Bedside Dialysis RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Dialysis Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:30 - 19:00) Experience: 1 year of acute dialysis experience License: South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Ability to work every other weekend and be on-call overnight Description: Position is for a bedside dialysis RN. Shift requires working three 12-hour days per week. Patient ratios are 1:2. On-call requirement is for overnight shifts, Sunday through Saturday. No floating is required within scope to meet facility needs. First-timers are accepted for this role. Candidates must be licensed in South Carolina or hold a Compact license. Certifications in BLS and ACLS are required. Preferred equipment experience includes Fresenius 2008T and Mobile Reverse Osmosis Machines. Local candidates will be accepted, but will be considered at a reduced rate. All time off requests must be included at the time of submission. Travelers should be aware of potential emergency response team assignments during hurricane season from June to November. The hospital is a Level I Trauma Center and Teaching Facility, with a total of 820 staffed beds. Weekends are required every other week. Travelers may be called off for one shift every two weeks. Traveler responsibilities may include responding to emergency situations as needed. Candidates must ensure that their documents and licensing are up to date prior to their start date.
