Job Title: RN Endoscopy City: Charleston State: SC Job Type: Travel Discipline: RN Speciality: Endoscopy Facility Setting: Short Term Acute Care (STAC) Accepting Locals per Radius Rule?: Yes Contract Length: 12 weeks Shifts: Days Shift Details: M-F - 8 hr - 0700-1530 Weekly Schedule: 40 Hours Certifications/Licences: Education: Graduate of an accredited school or college of nursing. BSN preferred Licensed as RN in SC or licensed in a recognized NCSBN compact state and is not a perm resident of SC - Required Must have a current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card. ACLS required for positions located in the Pain Management Clinic. All WIC service RN’s will be required to attain NRP certification and must keep this certification current. Mandatory Experience: Shift: M-F - 8 hr - 0700-1530. 9-10 calls per month which can be split or consecutive (includes every 3rd weekend) Ability to analyze situations and apply critical thinking - Required Ability to communicate clearly - Required Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations - Required BLS (AHA only) - Required BSN - Highly desired Graduate of an accredited school or college of nursing - Required Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment - Required Knowledge of organizational policies and procedures to administer patient care - Required Knowledge of the professional nursing theory and practice to give and evaluate patient care - Required Skill in applying and modifying the principles, methods and techniques of professional nursing to provide on-going patient care - Required Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, hospital, medical staff and the public - Required Skill in identifying problems and recommending solutions - Required Skill in preparing and maintaining records and writing reports - Required Get in Touch: We want to hear from you!
