About The Position We are seeking a skilled Psychiatrist for a 12-day locum tenens assignment at a Mental Health facility in West Virginia. The ideal candidate will provide collaborative support to two Nurse Practitioners, starting 06/02/2025. This role involves working 8-12 hours per month, approving notes for the NPs, and addressing medication management and case questions as needed. The position requires proficiency in CareLogic software and an active West Virginia medical license. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule and the chance to work in a supportive mental health setting, with potential for extension. Job Details: Location: West Virginia Facility Type: Mental Health Start Date: 06/02/2025 LOA: 12 days Provider Type Needed: Psychiatrist Schedule: 8-12 hours per month Responsibilities and Duties: - Collaborate with two Nurse Practitioners in providing mental health care - Review and approve notes prepared by the Nurse Practitioners - Address medication management questions and concerns - Provide guidance on complex cases as needed - Utilize CareLogic software for patient management and record-keeping - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records - Adhere to all facility protocols and safety procedures - Participate in case discussions and treatment planning as required - Ensure high-quality psychiatric care and support for patients Additional Information: - Active West Virginia medical license required - Experience with CareLogic software preferred - Strong ability to work collaboratively and provide guidance to other healthcare professionals - Excellent communication skills for interacting with staff and addressing patient care questions - Flexibility to adapt to the facility's scheduling needs within the 8-12 hour monthly commitment Apply now to learn more!
