Job Description:
The Neuro Med Surg RN will provide specialized care for patients
suffering from neurological disorders and diseases as well as
post-surgery recovery. This role requires handling complex
assessments, therapeutic communication, and critical thinking.
Successful candidates will work in a dynamic medical environment to
offer care that enhances patient outcomes and assists patients in
their recovery process. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate
patient care plans for neurologically impaired patients. Monitor
neurological exams and observe the condition and progress of
patients. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by
physicians. Provide post-operative care and closely monitor
patients' vital signs. Educate patients and their families on
disease processes, medical-surgical procedures, and other aspects
of therapeutic regimens. Collaborate with healthcare team members
to facilitate patient care. Document patient care services by
charting in patient and department records. Strong understanding of
neurological disorders Proficiency in using electronic health
record (EHR) systems Ability to perform detailed assessments and
administer medications effectively Excellent communication and
