Job Description Sign On Bonus: $2,000.00 (FT) $1,000.00 (PT) Douglas Manor is a 90-bed, family-owned skilled nursing facility in Windham, Connecticut specializing in short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. We are currently hiring Certified Nursing Assistants Check out our Facebook Page and you will definitely want to join our TEAM! Responsibilities: Prepare residents for meals (i.e., take to bathroom, wash hands, comb hair, raise bed, position tables, place bibs, take to/from dining room, etc.). Serve food trays. Assist with feeding as indicated (i.e., cutting foods, feeding, assist in dining room supervision, etc.). Perform after meal care (i.e., remove trays, clean resident's hands, face, clothing, take to bathroom, brush teeth, clean dentures, etc.). Take and record TPRs, blood pressures, etc., as necessary. Be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner. Be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 40 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 4 feet.
