ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in North Charleston, South Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/26/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Observation Unit Job Details: • Work 3x12 hour night shifts Monday through Thursday from 5:00 PM to 5:30 AM • No weekend requirements and facility is closed on holidays • No on-call or overtime responsibilities • Patient ratio of 3:1 for both day and night shifts • Care for adults and pediatric patients in 23-hour observation unit • Daily census of approximately 5 patients with 5 beds total • Must have minimum 1 year of nursing experience • Travel nursing experience required • Required certifications: SC State/Compact RN licensure, ACLS, PALS, BLS • Must have Epic charting system experience • Preferred experience: previous charge experience, community hospital experience, trauma level I & II experience • Scrub color requirement: royal or navy blue • Float within scope to sister facilities (downtown, Main, West Campus) as needed • 12-hour orientation period at work site • Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks but does not allow call outs • Must complete non-billable modules averaging 4 hours prior to start • During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams Facility: This healthcare facility operates an ambulatory surgery center with a specialized 23-hour observation unit for post-surgical patients requiring overnight monitoring.
