Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Charleston, SC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,246 per week Shift Information: Nights - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: RN License Certifications: BLS, RN Must-Have: - Circulating RN experience in general operating room, including orthopedic, neurological, plastic, vascular, trauma, robotic obstetrics and gynecology, and urology cases. - General circulating knowledge including positioning, prepping, and facilitating the surgical cases mentioned. Description: The traveler will be scheduled in accordance with facility policy. Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with facility employees. The operating room unit has 17 beds with a patient ratio of 1:1. Staffing includes 1 RN and 1 CST per room, along with turnover staff, 1 charge RN, and 4:1 anesthesia coverage. Night shift staffing is in-house. Required equipment includes an XI Robot, advanced spine technology, and a Mako joint robot. The documentation system used is Meditech. Scheduling requires 3 call shifts (12-hour) for 4 weeks with day and night shifts available. There is no floating policy required. Patient experience requirements follow the AIDET framework. The facility holds certifications for Total Joint, Level 2 Trauma, Stroke, and Cardiac Center recognition. Surgical procedures performed in the unit include general surgery, trauma, orthopedic (both trauma and elective joints/sports medicine), urology, gynecology, robotics, plastics, and complex neurological cases.
