registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience
required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not
be considered. An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse
(RN) with Med-Surg experience to join a Level I Trauma Center and
Magnet-designated teaching hospital in Charleston, SC. This
contract position offers a specialized MS Float Pool role,
supporting patient care across med-surg floors in both the main
hospital and the Ashley River Tower. Schedule: Night shifts, 3 x
12-hour shifts (7:00 PM 7:30 AM), 36 hours per week Every other
weekend required Holiday rotation participation required Block
scheduling available upon manager approval, depending on unit needs
Primary Responsibilities: Provide skilled nursing care to a diverse
patient population on medical-surgical units Float between the main
hospital and satellite locations as needed Maintain adherence to
hospital policies and EPIC charting system Collaborate with
interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes Adhere
to staffing ratios based on unit assignments Participate in
emergency response protocols during hurricane season (JuneNovember)
Qualifications & Experience: Active RN license issued by South
Carolina or a Multi-State/Compact license Minimum of 2 years
nursing experience in med-surgical settings (first-time float pool
nurses considered) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
required Ability to work within a 60-mile radius of Charleston, SC
Flexibility to accommodate weekend and holiday scheduling
