Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Charleston, SC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,040 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Ambulatory Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in specialty areas including Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, ENT, GYN, GU, Endocrine, Surgical Oncology, Plastics, Robotics, and Total Joints. License: South Carolina or Compact License Certifications: BLS, radiation badge Must-Have: Proficient in skills related to Orthopedic surgery. Description: Position available for an Ambulatory Operating Room Registered Nurse. The shift is 10 hours, four days a week, from 06:30 AM to 05:00 PM. Scheduled day off will be based on departmental needs, with special requests considered if possible. Scheduled late shifts may occur a few times per month. This position does not require on-call duty. Floating within the facility may be necessary based on operational needs. Candidates should be well-rounded in specialties that align with the unit's caseload. First-time travelers are not accepted. Local candidates within a 60-mile radius will be considered. All requests for time off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission and will be approved based on facility needs. Guaranteed hours indicate that the traveler may be called off one shift per two-week period. The unit comprises 10 RNs and one PCT, serving a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment. The pre/post RN is responsible for patient preparation and recovery monitoring in phases of post-anesthesia care. Close collaboration with surgeons, anesthesia, and OR nurses is required to ensure safe and effective patient care. The unit specifically focuses on Orthopedic surgeries, including total joints and arthroscopy cases. All staff members may be assigned emergency response roles during hurricane season. Modules are non-billable and will be included in compliance hours. All candidates must hold an active South Carolina RN license or provide proof of application for licensure. Multiple requests for time off within an 8-13 week contract will not be accepted. Please ensure timely compliance with all pre-start requirements to maintain eligibility for the position.
