Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work as MS Float pool RN with 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week • Minimum of 3-4 weekend shifts required per schedule • Holiday rotation required • Float between med surg floors at Main hospital and Ashley River tower • Patient ratios may vary depending on unit assignment (typically 6:1) • 2 years of nursing experience required • First-time travelers accepted • South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License required • BLS certification required • Scrub requirements: Solid Royal Blue or White top with Royal blue bottoms • Charting system: EPIC • Skills include isolation precautions, med/surg care, nasal cannula, oxygen administration, peripheral line care, IV management, and use of rapid response/code teams • Care for adult patients • Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks • Block schedule may be accommodated with manager approval • Hurricane season emergency response team assignment may be required (June-November) Facility: This healthcare organization operates as a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, and Magnet Hospital with 820 total staffed beds.
