We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 40-day locum tenens assignment in West Virginia. This opportunity begins on Mar 6, 2026, and offers 24-hour in-house call coverage over 1-2 weekends per month, with midwives handling first call and the physician serving as backup. Job Details - Location: West Virginia - Start Date: Mar 6, 2026 - LOA: 40 days - Provider Type Needed: Obstetrician/Gynecologist - Schedule: 24-hour in-house call, Friday 7am–Monday 7am or Friday 5pm–Monday 7am; 1-2 weekends per month Responsibilities and Duties - Provide 24-hour in-house call coverage for obstetrics and gynecology cases - Serve as backup to midwives who are on first call - Respond promptly to urgent and emergent patient needs - Collaborate with midwives and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care Additional Information - Must hold a current license to practice in West Virginia - Required board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology - Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required Benefits - Strong compensation - Travel-related expenses covered - A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided - Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
