cardiovascular operating room nurses specializing in open-heart
procedures. This contract role is based in Goose Creek, South
Carolina, and offers the chance to provide critical surgical care
within a high-performing team. Position Highlights: - Three
openings available - Shift options: Two positions: 3 twelve-hour
shifts, 10:30 AM 11:00 PM One position: 3 twelve-hour night shifts,
6:00 PM 6:30 AM - On-call requirement: One 24-hour weekend call per
month (Saturday or Sunday) Key Responsibilities: - Deliver
comprehensive perioperative nursing care to cardiovascular surgical
patients, focusing on open-heart surgeries - Collaborate closely
with the surgical team including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and
support staff to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes -
Adhere to established protocols and best practices in
cardiovascular surgical nursing - Participate in equipment
preparation, suctioning, monitoring, and patient positioning
tailored for cardiovascular cases Desired Qualifications: - Current
RN licensure with certification or substantial experience in
Cardiovascular Operating Room Nursing (CVOR) - Strong knowledge of
sterile techniques and cardiovascular surgical procedures - Ability
to operate and monitor advanced surgical technology and
instrumentation - Excellent critical thinking, communication, and
