Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school-based
occupational therapy professional opportunity is available to
support K-12 students in Hampton, VA. This contract position spans
the full school year and focuses on delivering targeted
occupational therapy services within the school environment. The
role is ideal for candidates with specialized skills in pediatric
occupational therapy, particularly within educational settings. Key
Responsibilities: Provide individualized occupational therapy
interventions tailored to diverse student needs. Collaborate with
teachers, parents, and education staff to develop and implement IEP
goals. Conduct assessments to determine students functional
abilities and progress. Maintain accurate documentation and comply
with state and federal educational guidelines. Utilize
evidence-based therapeutic techniques to enhance students
participation in school activities. Qualifications: Licensed or
certified Occupational Therapist with relevant credentials.
Experience delivering occupational therapy services in schools or
pediatric populations preferred. Strong knowledge of developmental
milestones and K-12 educational standards. Ability to work
effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment. Excellent
communication and organizational skills. Location: Hampton,
Virginia Duration: Contract for the current school year (CSY)
