Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiation Therapist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 02/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist /n/n Job Details: /n • Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM /n• No on-call or weekend requirements /n• May be asked to cross cover different treatment machines /n• Daily caseload varies per technician /n• 2 years of radiation therapy experience required /n• First-time travelers not accepted /n• Required certifications: ARRT SCRQSA and BLS /n• Must provide own radiation badge (agency responsibility) /n• Experience with Aria and Varian Truebeam equipment preferred /n• Previous charge experience required /n• Travel experience required /n• EPIC charting system experience required /n• Green family scrubs required /n• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks /n• Must complete approximately 4 hours of non-billable modules pre-start /n• Work with patients of all ages including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics /n• Handle approximately 90 visits per day /n• May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November) /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare organization operates as a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, and Magnet Hospital with 865 staffed beds.
