The RN Critical Care role is crucial in providing high-level, patient-centered care in our intensive care units (ICUs) and critical care departments. As a Critical Care Nurse at HCA Healthcare, you will work closely with top healthcare professionals in a supportive and patient-focused environment, aiding in the management and recovery of our most vulnerable patients. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Monitor patient health and progress while documenting necessary updates. Perform emergency procedures as needed and as guided by your training and licensure. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan, manage, and assess patient treatments. Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment, and prevention measures. Administer medications, maintain accurate patient records, and ensure compliance with health and safety protocols. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Basic Life Support (BLS) Patient assessment and care planning Strong verbal and written communication Critical thinking and problem-solving Ability to work in a high-stress environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) License Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) preferred
