Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry Location: Charleston, SC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,698 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Observation Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience preferred License: State or Multi-State/Compact RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Description: About the position: This position involves working in a surgical short-stay and observation unit. The shift is three 12-hour shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Monday to Thursday, with no required weekends or holidays. The nurse-to-patient ratio is expected to be 1:3 with a maximum of 1:6. On-call requirements do not apply for this position. Floating to another observation unit may occur based on facility needs. Block schedule accommodations will be considered with manager approval. The unit caters to a variety of patient cases, including orthopedics, interventional radiology, and gastrointestinal procedures. Nurses will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and operating room staff to ensure safe and effective patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role requires proficiency in various nursing skills, including airway assessment, medication reconciliation, and IV management. The unit has a two-RN and one-PCT staffing model, with possible adjustments based on nightly needs. The environment includes building security during overnight shifts. All required time off (RTO) must be declared at the time of submission for the position. Candidates must be available for emergency response assignments during hurricane season from June to November.
