HCA Healthcare, a leading provider of patient-centered medical care in the United States, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our Emergency Room department on a PRN (pro re nata) night shift basis. This position is ideal for a compassionate and skilled nurse who thrives in high-pressure environments and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care during night shifts. As part of our emergency care team, you will work across nearly 2,000 care sites, including hospitals and surgery centers, ensuring efficient and effective treatment for a diverse range of urgent health needs. Assess, triage, and treat patients in a fast-paced emergency room setting. Implement physicians’ orders, perform treatments, and administer medications safely. Monitor patient vital signs and record relevant data in patient records. Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, and other medical staff to provide comprehensive emergency care. Educate patients and their families on treatments, interventions, and preventive measures. Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement programs. Ability to work well in high-pressure situations Strong proficiency in emergency care and life-saving techniques Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Skill in the usage of medical software for patient management Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is preferred.
