ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Charleston, South Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM • On-call required up to 4 call shifts every 4 weeks • Weekend coverage required up to one working weekend shift every 4 weeks • Holiday coverage required - must work at least one holiday period (Christmas or New Year's) • Float within scope to meet facility needs and between like units/sister facilities • 2 years of operating room experience strongly preferred • First-time travelers accepted • South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required • Required certifications: BLS, Radiation Badge (provided by agency) • Level 1 trauma experience required • Scrub experience strongly preferred • RNs trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures • Work with all surgical specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics • Patient ratios 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends • Patient age groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics • Charting system: EPIC • Scrubs provided by facility • Parking fee: $20 registration fee for hang tag • Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks • Hurricane season emergency response team assignment may be required (June-November) Facility: This Level I trauma center is an 820-bed academic medical facility with Magnet designation. The Main Operating Room features 21 OR suites covering all surgical specialties with cutting-edge technology. The nursing team consists of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists in a busy, dynamic, nurse-driven department. The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including interpretation services, radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretary services.
