Description: Position specializes in Operating Room nursing. The
nurse will work three 12-hour shifts per week, from 8:30 AM to 9:00
PM. On-call requirements include up to two shifts per month, on
weekends. Nurses will be required to work at least one holiday
period, including Christmas and New Year’s. Floating to meet
facility needs will be required. The facility operates a Level 1
trauma center with 21 OR suites. Surgical specialties include
Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics. The
nursing team consists of 75% registered nurses and 25% certified
surgical technologists. Registered nurses are trained to both scrub
and circulate surgical procedures. The department is busy, dynamic,
and nurse-driven, with a focus on cutting-edge technology.
Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during
certain seasons. All time off must be included with the application
and is subject to facility needs. The facility prioritizes
candidates with an active state RN license. Only candidates with
two years of experience are preferred, but first-timers may be
accepted. A radiation badge will be provided by the agency. 5
