team of 6 physicians and 6 PA/NPs at Effingham Hospital Work
alongside a diverse group of professionals with backgrounds from
all over the world. We are an integral part of our hospital
community and a valued strategic partner, maintaining great
relationships with hospital leadership and other physician groups.
Our team actively participates in committees and leadership roles
to support quality and process improvement. Qualifications: ABEM
Eligible/Certified or FM/IM with ER experience Authorized to work
in the United States Scheduling: 24 hours of physician coverage –
12-hour shifts 20 hours of APP coverage Key Responsibilities:
Provide coverage for Effingham Health System which is a 25 Bed
critical access hospital with a 12-bed ED seeing roughly 23,000
visits annually. Manage all aspects of community emergency
medicine, collaborating closely with colleagues and consultants. As
a Level IV Trauma center with a community-focused environment, this
site offers a manageable workflow and a slower-paced ED setting
ideal for balanced, consistent shifts. Living and Working in
