Average census 250 total rounding census about 18 per provider · How many daily admissions? 50 admissions total anticipate one admission per rounder on average · Are there any consults and if so how many per day? no · What’s the patient population? Mixed insurance Uninsured VA · Trauma center? Types of cases? Acuity? Level 1 trauma center Stroke Center Heart and Vascualr Center of Excellence · What does the support staff look like? Full specialty support other than don’t have Dermatology Endocrine or Rheumatology. · How will follow up cases be handled? when applicable- inpatient or outpatient N/A Specialty Specific Questions: · What are the shift times? Day Rounder 7:00a-7:00p Swing 12:00p-12:00a Nocturnist 7:00p-7:00a · Is call involved? No after hours call · How many patients are they rounding on per day? 17-20 · Will they round in the ICU?
