Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated and skilled
Nurse Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will
oversee the nursing staff and ensure that high standards of patient
care are maintained in accordance with our mission to provide
integrated healthcare services. Your leadership will be crucial in
managing our inpatient rehabilitation, home health, and hospice
care services. You will work closely with other healthcare
professionals to optimize health outcomes for our patients through
advanced treatments and compassionate care. This position requires
an individual who is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and has
strong leadership and organizational skills. Supervise and manage
nursing staff across multiple departments. Ensure adherence to
healthcare regulations and standards for patient care and safety.
Coordinate with healthcare professionals to implement effective
patient care plans. Monitor patient health outcomes and adjust care
plans as needed. Conduct regular staff evaluations and provide
feedback to improve performance. Manage staffing schedules,
training, and recruitment of nursing personnel. Lead efforts in
patient advocacy and maintain a compassionate environment. Strong
leadership and managerial skills Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills Proficiency in clinical operations and
healthcare management Ability to implement and maintain healthcare
quality standards Skilled in conflict resolution and staff
management Experience in patient care planning and execution
Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and standards Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Registered Nurse
(RN) license Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced
Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred Certified Nurse
Manager and Leader (CNML) certification is a plus
