Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Savannah, GA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,048 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Savannah, Georgia, 31419! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Stepdown Duration: 14 Weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Solid PCU skillset - Successful completion of at least 1 travel contract - Telemetry experience Description: Candidates must have experience in a hospital of similar size and acuity. Candidates must pass a clinical resume review to be considered for the position. The unit has 12 beds, with nurse-patient ratios of 1:4-5 depending on acuity. RNs are assigned based on the needs of the unit, which combines Med-Surg and Stepdown care. RNs will titrate drips as required. Common titratable and/or set rate drips available. RNs are responsible for pulling their own labs, with no phlebotomy required. Charge nurses take an assignment alongside their responsibilities. There are nurse aids assigned to the unit with a ratio of 12-1. Respiratory equipment includes nasal and face masks, as well as BiPap. There are no Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit, as monitoring is done on a different floor. RNs are not required to read their own strips. Self-scheduling is allowed. Every other weekend and holiday shifts are required. There is no call or standby requirement. Floating to other units is not required. Navy scrubs are the approved dress code. Unit-specific orientation includes a computer skills assessment and practical training.
