Job Description Summary University Internal Medicine is a
specialized adult primary care clinic serving patients 18 years and
older. We provide comprehensive care for: • Women’s and men’s
health • Preventive screenings and annual wellness visits • Chronic
disease management (including diabetes and high blood pressure) •
Care for patients with multiple or complex medical conditions Our
team includes dedicated internal medicine and family medicine
physicians, along with resident physicians, allowing us to deliver
well-rounded, collaborative care tailored to each patient. We are

of a Registered Nurse, the Certified Medical Assistant performs
multi-skilled activities to support a decentralized
patient-centered approach to patient care and achieve desired

Licensure and/or Certifications (One Required): American Medical
Technologist (AMT) American Association of Medical Assistants
(AAMA) National Health career Association (NHA) MedCA as a
Certified Clinical & Administrative Medical Assistant (MA1)
National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP), National
Center for Competency Testing (NCCT). Additional Requirements:
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification
from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare
Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross
CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider."

a 400 lb. patient in a wheelchair on carpet. 25 lbs. of force is
required to push a stretcher with a patient with one hand. Ability
to maintain 20/40 vision, corrected, in one eye or with both eyes.

distance/relationship between objects; depth perception.
