We are--seeking enthusiastic, service oriented Caf-- Servers to provide exceptional interactive service to our resident customers in our Market Place Caf--.-- The Market Place Caf-- offers several food station and buffet meal options in a relaxed food court like environment.-- We offer full-time opportunities with starting pay at $16.29 / hr.
A Typical Day:

• 
  
• Set up caf-- for meal service
  
• Serve customers, primarily Bishop Gadsden residents, staff, and guests during operating hours
  
• Work with kitchen staff to ensure proper food handling, presentation, and quality
  
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining room areas
  
• Perform all duties assigned in an effective, timely, and professional manner
  
• Potential handling of cash register, ensuring accurate charges to residents and staff
  
  What We Need In A Candidate:
  
  • 
    
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
    
  • Previous line serving and minimal cooking experience preferred
    
  • Prior working experience and/or interacting with an elderly population preferred
    
  • At least eighteen (18) years of age
    
  • Ability to read, write, speak, understand, comprehend and communicate English
    
  • Professional appearance and attitude for daily interaction with residents, families, coworkers, and public.
    
  • Ability to multi-task and deal with multiple customers at the same time
    
  • Ability to stand, stoop, bend reach, squat, climb, reach above head, carry, and lift (up to 50 pounds /-) Ability to stand for extended periods of time
