Job Description Job Description Job Title: Supply Chain Specialist Position Overview The Supply Specialist is a key member of the Materials Management team, responsible for supporting clinical operations through effective materials handling, distribution, and logistics. This role involves determining replenishment needs, tracking shipments, and documenting the receipt and distribution of medical supplies and equipment. Shift: 12:00pm - 8:30pm Compensation Starting Pay: $16/hour Increases: $1–$3 raise after 3–6 months, yearly raises Advancement: Significant opportunities for growth within the organization, multiple career paths and strong promotion from within Primary Responsibilities Determine replenishment requirements for medical supplies Locate, select, and document the issue of supplies Receive and distribute supplies and equipment Perform inventory management and material handling Pick, pack, and ship orders using RF scanners Handle shipping and receiving tasks with accurate recordkeeping Use SAP for logistics and warehouse inventory tracking Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED At least one year of relevant work experience Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience with recordkeeping, shipping/receiving, and inventory control Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks Preferred Qualifications Logistics experience in a healthcare setting Familiarity with RF scanners and scan guns Comfortable using SAP and email systems Why Join Us Work for the largest employer in South Carolina Team-oriented environment with clear paths for promotion Access to state benefits, pension plan, and tuition reimbursement Clean, climate-controlled hospital setting Work Environment On-site position in downtown Charleston, South Carolina Professional, collaborative atmosphere Dress code: scrubs or office casual with sneakers Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charleston, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $16.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
