ConGlobal Industries, Inc., a leader in providing comprehensive services to the shipping and transportation sectors, is looking for an experienced Railyard Operations Manager to oversee daily operations at one of our key railyard facilities. This position is pivotal in managing the effective flow of goods through our network, optimizing logistics operations, and ensuring that all railyard activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory and company standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in railyard management, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the logistics involved in transportation and shipping. Oversee day-to-day operations of the railyard, ensuring efficiency and safety. Coordinate with transportation partners to ensure seamless transfer of goods. Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Implement strategic operational changes to improve productivity and reduce costs. Manage staff, providing training, performance monitoring, and development opportunities. Prepare operational reports and analyses for senior management. Ensure that all equipment and technology used in the railyard are maintained and updated. Strong leadership and personnel management Proficient in railyard management systems and related technology Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing environments Deep knowledge of the regulatory landscape in transportation and logistics Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified in Transportation and Logistics (CTL) is preferred. Other relevant certifications in project management or operations management beneficial.
