Find your future with us.We are currently seeking a Systems Integration Specialist to join our Global IT Infrastructure team located in North Charleston, SC. or Kent, WA. --Qualified candidates will provide technical and project leadership for designing operating system and layered software products in support of compliant integrated software releases. -- Ideal candidates will be responsible for ensuring first time quality of software releases that are functional, reliable, secure and perform to design specifications in support of tactical and strategic operating system release plans. -- This position will be foundational for dedicated and cloud based server technologies enabling business agility, continuous delivery and configuration management for operating system and infrastructure software.The candidate should be a self-starter with effective technical, leadership, people and communication skills. -- The position will require working with a diverse set of stakeholders, developers, testers, problem management and release teams to develop deploy integrated software releases for the enterprise. -- Candidate should possess a positive attitude, be self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced challenging environment. --

Activities include:

• Partnering with Boeing Software Technology experts and product owners to design and develop server software configurations used enterprise wide
• Creating content design and plans to deliver content on a consistent release schedule
• Identifying the best ways to target and deliver new software configurations and components by engaging with end users
• Collaborating with OS content packagers to build / test / and deliver fully automated OS Software deployment
• Coordinating with security vulnerability management teams to assess and correct critical patch vulnerabilities
• Providing assistance as a technical expert in troubleshooting of content related incidents and problems --This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a ------US Person------ as defined by 22 C.F.R. -- 120.15 is required. ------US Person------ includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. -- -- Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelors degree or higher Bachelor's degree and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 7 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Technical disciplines preferred
  • Minimum 3 or more years --managing --MS Windows based --Operating System
  • Experience --working with lifecycle management of distributed server infrastructure
  • Experience analyzing data and/or identifying functional and systems requirements with customersPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
    • Jenkins, GIT, Oracle, Java, C#, JIRA, TFS, SQL, Power Shell
    • Software Development Lifecycle
    • Continuous improvement ------ Lean practices
