Job Description:
Job DescriptionPOSTION PUROSE The Project Supervisor is
responsible for managing the day-to-day operational activities of
assigned projects as well as supervising all daily job site
activities in a manner that will ensure safe and accurate delivery
of the project with the highest level of quality and within the
required target schedule and budget. Essentially, the Project
Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of a job from
its inception to completion. Projects include mold remediation,
environmental abatement, infection control and containment,
monitoring of routine construction projects, and emergency
response. The Project Supervisor, reporting to the Project Manager
/ General Manager, will communicate effectively with all levels of
management, personnel, and clients and be able to multi-task, make
rapid decisions, and maintain all required project documentation
logs.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage the day-to-day operational activities of assigned
projects
- Act as daily on-site project contact for clients and manage
client expectations
- Assign staff members to projects as well as hire and train
external labor as needed
- May supervise a team of three-to-four Remediation / Restoration
Technicians
- Provide direction to and evaluate the performance of staff
members and scheduling
- Supervise all production, cleaning, and subcontractor crew
activities to ensure efficient and safe work practices
- Communicate the specifications required for job completion to
staff and sub-contractors and coordinates their efforts to complete
projects within scheduled timeframes
- Maintain accurate daily job site records & deliver to office at
the end of each day for review
- Responsible for accurately maintaining daily reports, daily
sign-in timesheets, equipment records and material sheets
- Ensure that safety and compliance standards are met
- Available for on-call rotation emergency response after hours
and on weekends as needed
- Serves as main point of contact for on-call list and contacts
technicians when an emergency response is requiredQUALIFICATIONS
Technical Qualifications:
- Must possess valid & clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background
check
- Must pass DOT physical requirements
- May be required to have DOT certification to operate certain
vehicles
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and supervise construction
staff, both employees and sub-contractors
- Demonstrated ability to manage, schedule and organize all
aspects of a project from materials handling to final
completion
- Ability and willingness to be hands-on with all aspects of
projects
- Intermediate knowledge of computers and computer software
- Possess knowledge of and proper use of drying and dehumidifying
equipment
- Possess general knowledge of cleaning and demolition
procedures
- Ability to problem solve and multi-task Behavioral
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills; verbal and written
- Ability to work with management, clients, and co-workers in a
professional manner Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Five years' minimum related experience
- Equivalent combination of education & experience may be used to
meet these requirementsPREFERENCES
- A background in fire damage, water damage, mold remediation,
structure drying, and other type of remediation and restoration is
strongly preferred
- Certifications in fire damage, water damage and mold
remediation preferred such as IICRC Certifications in WRT, FSRT,
ASD, AMRT
- Must complete one training class in either Odor Control or
Contents in a two-year periodSPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Willingness to travel locally 75% of the time in response to
emergency calls. Some out-of-town travel
- Must be available to work on a rotating on-call shift and be
available for after hours and weekend work as requiredWORK

- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull at least 50 lbs.
