Sportsman Boats is -looking for -assembly technicians in our capping, consoles, T-top, or outboard motor -areas. - Must be experienced with both basic and electronic hand tools and enjoy working with your hands, building and putting equipment -together. - -

Essential functions and responsibilities:

• 
  
• 
  Assemble and install equipment meeting high quality standards and daily production numbers
  
  
• 
  Pull wires, install equipment like Yamaha outboards, Garmin systems, stereo components, navigation systems, other hardware to specification -
  
  
• 
  Use -basic hand tools and power equipment (miter saw, reciprocating saw, drill, driver, etc.) -
  
  
• 
  Build T-tops and consoles
  
  
• 
  Inspect parts for accuracy and quality
  
  
• 
  Follow safety procedures
  
  
• 
  Maintain area tools and equipment
  
  
• 
  Able to read and interpret manufacturing schedules
  
  
• 
  Able to read and understand units of measure
  
  
• 
  Physically able to climb in and out of boats -
  
  
• 
  Be challenged and have fun along the way
  
  
  What you'll know or have done:
  
  • 
    
  • 
    Experience with air, hand, and power tools
    
    
  • 
    Experience in boating, automotive, electrical, or carpentry
