Job Description Qualifications:BoeingCommercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Entry-level Production Inventory Coordinator to support the Final Assembly Team based out of North Charleston, South Carolina on variable shifts. Successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work alone and as part of a team. They enjoy working in a customer support role with direct interaction with customers. They will have an interest in and working knowledge of common hand tools. Position Responsibilities :

• Assists with processing and movement of production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support the flow of production following standard work instructions. Assists in monitoring work in process.
• Posts updates to automated systems to insure parts availability.
• Identifies problems or discrepancies with parts and materials.
• Assists within the work group to expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays.
• Works under close supervision. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in North Charleston, SC.Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Experience supporting manufacturing for non-production materials, tool and shop supplies
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 hour shift
  • Ability to walk, stand, climb and descend stairs, bend and lift items, package materials and unload materials from containers frequently throughout the shift
  • Forklift experience or ability to obtain forklift license
  • Ability to work variable shift Preferred Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience ):
    • Experience working in Velocity/KITS (Kit Integration Tracking System)/CribMaster/Shipside Action Tracker (SAT) / BESSY
    • Experience using lean manufacturing principles Typical Education / Experience:Typically acquired through basic education (e.g. high school diploma/GED). Related work experience or relevant military experience preferred, but not required. Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
