Job Description Job Description Job Title: MRI Technologist Job Description We are seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist with 0-1 years of experience to perform routine scans, including Neuro, MSK, Chest/Abdomen, arterial/venous delayed scans, drains/BX, and emergency exams. The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist will work under general supervision and report directly to the CT Supervisor and Radiology Manager. The role involves conducting high-quality CT scans in alignment with established protocols across a diverse patient population, from neonates to geriatric individuals, for physician interpretation. Responsibilities Perform routine MRI scans such as Neuro, MSK, Chest/Abdomen, and arterial/venous delayed scans. Conduct emergency exams and departmental procedures, including drains and biopsies. Ensure high-quality CT scans are performed for physician interpretation. Work with a diverse patient population, ranging from neonates to geriatric individuals. Adhere to established protocols and procedures. Essential Skills 0-1 years of experience in MRI scanning. Proficiency in routine scans and emergency exams. Knowledge of Chemistry and Biology. Understanding of departmental workflow. Additional Skills & Qualifications Must obtain ARRT Computed Tomography Registration within 1 year of hire. Work Environment The MRI Technologist role offers multiple shifts, including 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and weekends, providing flexibility to accommodate personal scheduling needs. The position operates in a modern radiology department equipped with advanced technologies to support high-quality imaging practices. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Charleston, SC.
