This part-time Social Worker position offers the opportunity to support the well-being and development of elementary students in grades K-5 within a school setting. Working up to 15 hours per week (1-2 days), this role focuses on serving an elementary-aged caseload, providing essential social-emotional support to young learners. Responsibilities: - Conduct assessments and develop individualized support plans for students - Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to address student needs - Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and social skills training - Connect students and families with community resources - Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with school policies Qualifications: - Active licensure to practice as a Social Worker in South Carolina school settings - Masters degree in Social Work - Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Location: - Folly Beach, SC This role is ideal for a licensed social worker seeking a part-time contract engagement supporting elementary students.
