Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 02/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with ARRT registration, BLS certification, and the flexibility to float to multiple facilities. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in a hospital CT department with assignments scheduled Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM - 12-hour shifts, three days per week, with 2-3 call shifts every 6 weeks - Floating to other facilities in the system may be required - Patient care includes producing CT radiographs of designated anatomical areas under physician direction - Uses Cerner EMR for charting; prior Cerner experience preferred - Main responsibilities include performing CT exams, assisting radiologists during procedures, and supervising student technologists as needed - Adheres to hospital and departmental safety, radiation protection, and regulatory standards - Must be able to work under stressful conditions and irregular hours as required by departmental needs - Exposure to blood, body fluids, infectious material, and radiation is possible in the work environment - 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates within this radius are not accepted - Assignment length limited to one calendar year from initial start date with a 30-60 day break required before returning - May be required to work weekends and holidays depending on department need - Proper use and cost-efficient management of imaging equipment and related supplies is expected /n /n Requirements/n - Registered in Radiologic Technology by ARRT or a permanent certification in Radiography from SCRQSA - ARRT registration in CT preferred - Active South Carolina or compact state license required if applicable - Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider required - High school diploma or GED required; graduation from an accredited Allied Health Program or CT program preferred - One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred - Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills - Physical ability to frequently stand, walk, lift/move patients, and handle up to 50 lbs /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-661197.
