Job Description:

HCA Healthcare invites certified and experienced PRN Operating Room RNs to join our expansive healthcare team. In this role, you'll provide critical nursing care to surgical patients in our state-of-the-art operating rooms. This position requires dynamic nursing professionals who can adapt to diverse surgical environments and uphold the highest standards of patient care. Being on a PRN schedule, you will cover shifts as needed, offering flexibility while still being integrated into our committed team. Prepare operating rooms for surgery including sterilizing equipment and setting up surgical tools. Assess patients pre-operatively and develop a nursing care plan. Provide care before, during, and after surgical procedures, monitoring patient vital signs and managing any immediate post-operative needs. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care. Maintain records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Strong surgical nursing skills Ability to operate and monitor surgical equipment Excellent teamwork and communication skills Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Capability to respond quickly and effectively under pressure Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
