Description: About the PositionPosition: PICU RNShift: Will work
3x12s, ROTATING, 7a-730p & 7p-730a, (50/50 scheduled in 2-4 week
blocks) - holiday requirement if contract is during that

call off 1 shift per 2 weeksUNIT Pediatric Intensive Care unit is a
28-bed unit providing intensive and intermediate care to children
ages 0-18 from across the state of South Carolina. The unit cares
for patients with a blend of medical and surgical diagnoses. Common
diagnoses include, but are not limited to, respiratory compromise,
trauma, post-operative surgical patients requiring immediate
intensive care support, and neurology/neurosurgery. In addition to
ventilatory and cardiac support, the unit provides ECMO/CRRT, renal
or peritoneal dialysis and additional complex supportive therapies
. Pediatric Palliative care is available as needed. The staffing
mix includes Registered Nurses, Patient Care Technicians, and Unit
Secretaries with therapeutic supportive services such as
Respiratory Therapy, Pediatric Dietitians, and Pediatric Pharmacist

during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be
assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please
ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the
season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year.

submit. Local Rule: MUSC prioritizes non-local candidates first.
Radius rule is 60 miles. Locals will be considered at local
ratePrevious perm staff(this includes PRN) must be separated from
the MUSC system for 1 year before returning as a traveler.South
Carolina RN License: MUSC will prioritize candidates that have SC
license in hand. We will still consider candidates with a pending
license at the time of submission please provide proof that they
have applied for the license or confirm that they can complete the
SC walk-through process. Traveler will not be cleared to report to
the facility until SC license is issued/active.RTO GUIDELINE FOR
AUTO OFFERS: If a candidate is a clinical PASS, the account manager
can auto offer a traveler that has 7 days or less of NON-HOLIDAY
RTO. Any candidate that has 7 days and/or includes holidays will
have to be submitted to the facility for approval and can delay the
processWe can only submit to one MUSC unit/campus at a time. If you
do submit to multiple job IDs, please mention in the submission
what their top choice is.Hurricane Season Travelers should be aware
